Year 7&8 skiing.

Hello. On tuesday I and some others went skiing at Porters.  It was about a 3 hour drive and the bus we were on had seat belts. Once we got there we waited in line for our numbers then put on our boots and got our ski’s. After grabbing our ski’s, helmet, boots, gloves and goggles/sunglasses we met up with our skiing instructor. The name of the instructor for my group was Nate. We started by learning how to put on our ski’s and that was easy. After practicing how to get up after falling and how to ski we skied down a small section of hill and did that over and over before going practicing how to turn. We had a line of cones and we had to weave in and out of the cones. I found that this was quite easy and so soon enough I was able to move on and go to the escalator thing to get higher up the mountain. Overall I only fell 3 times. While a few others fell quite a lot. I found that this trip was very fun and was a good learning experience.

Visual writing prompts V3

Hello. I have been writing storys from images. This is called 'We are the resistance.' for this one I wasent so much inspired byt the photo but more by the name.

I stand up off my bed and walk over to my mannequin, adorned with a cape with a fluff lined hood, A red armor plate and a scabbard holding my sword. I reach my hand and lift up the cape off the mannequin draping it over my arm. The front of my chestplate read ‘Vive la résistance’. I pick up the chestplate and leave the sword and scabbard before turning around and putting my chestplate and cape on the bed. Turning around I take off my night clothes and swap it out for a nice white button up and a pair of black pants, buttoning up my top followed by doing the buttons on the cuffs and look at my dresser where a pair of dark blood red, battle worn Vambrace lay, one has a Gauntlet, Rerebrace and Couter paired with it. I ignore them for now and grab my chest plate, putting it over my head and tightening the side straps before going back to my dresser. Reaching my hand out I grab the singular Vambrace and strapped it onto my right forearm. Following that I start by grabbing the Rerebrace and softly running my hand over the spikes on the shoulder of it, I slip it up strapping it onto my arm tight enough that it wouldn't slip off then I put on the Couter, then the Vambrace, then lastly I grabbed the gauntlet but decided to not put it on yet. I spun around back to my bed and grabbed my cape. I undo the small knot in front then put it around to my back and tie it around my neck and adjust it so it wouldn't dig into my neck at all. I go and grab my sword and take it out of its scabbard laying it against the mannequin and undoing the belt that was holding its scabbard and put it on myself before picking up the sword and putting it in. There was a knock at the door and I looked around to it before grabbing my mask and putting it on to hide my disgusting burnt face and all its scars. “Qui est là?” I call to the door The small voice of my servant, Marxius peeps back “Mon monsieur, les troupes du château de trèfle approchent des tours avant. Que devrions nous faire?” I groaned, “Donnez-moi un moment et je serai dehors.” lowering my mask and grabbing my gauntlet slipping it onto my left hand. I looked into the mirror above my dresser and put down my mask fixing up my hair and tying on my mask. I walk out of my door looking down at Marxius. “Allons-y, allons vite rassembler les troupes et je te retrouverai à l'avant de la tour 2” I said to Marx, He ran off and I walked down the hall in the opposite direction. A small amount of walking later I heard the loud blow of the horn and looked out the large window and saw troops gathering below and I started to walk faster and soon enough I was at the tower. I walked down the stairs and saw Marxius standing at the entrance waiting for me, I walked out and stood in front of my troops, they all stood straight and at attention. “Troupe 1, vous traverserez les tunnels ouest nord-ouest. Troupe 5, vous traverserez le tunnel nord-nord-ouest.” I bellowed “Une fois que vous y êtes, vous envahirez l'ennemi par derrière.” “Monsieur!” The troops saluted and then went to their respective tunnels. I Spoke to Marxius. “Va me chercher mon cheval et mon bouclier.” Marx ran off and came back shortly with my horse and shield. I mounted my horse and picked up my shield and steered my horse to the front of all the troops and nodded towards the people in control of the large gate. “Une fois cette porte ouverte, nous chargerons sur eux et les autres troupes chargeront sur eux de l'arrière.” I commanded and the gate started to raise and I turned my horse around taking out my sword. I started to trot over to the gate and my troops followed, I looked at the sky and the clouds looked like a Valkyrie, I hoped that she would be on my side this day. The gate clanked to a stop and I galloped forward raising my sword and yelling “Vive la résistance!” all my troops ran behind me and yelled as well. I saw the other troops and locked eyes with the king of that kingdom who was also on a horse. I charged ahead towards the other king and swung towards his arm but was met with his sword blocking mine. “C'est bon de vous revoir Julius.” I said slightly muffled by my mask Julius replied “C'est bon de te voir aussi, Rades. Je vois que tu as toujours ton masque. Je me demande encore ce qui se cache là-dessous.” Julius replied using the tip of his finger to slightly flick the bottom of my mask. “Sur mon cadavre.” I said with a hiss drawing my sword back and putting up my shield as an arrow rocketing down and would have stabbed me in the head if I had not brought up my shield. I took advantage of Julius’ surprise and swung my sword, cutting Julius’ cheek and the blood started to drool down and pooled on his chin. I jumped off my horse and Julius did the same. Our horses ran through the crowd and back to our kingdoms. I charge forward and strike my sword colliding with Julius’ and I push forward. Julius took a step back and my sword swung forward cutting deep into his arm. He puts his hand onto the cut and holds it for a moment before swinging forward as I lean back and he barely misses. Julius spoke. “Tu es toujours rapide, mon vieil ami.” “Et vous êtes toujours aussi lent que jamais.” I replied with slight laughter in my voice. “Qu'est-ce que tu es un serpent? Parce que vous avez toujours une langue si acérée avec ces insultes intelligentes.” Julius shot back. I thrusted my sword forward, skimming across the side of Julius’ torso. He jumped back and touched where I had cut him and looked at the blood on his hand. He tried to stab me back but he only scratched my chestplate with a screech of the metals colliding. One of Julius’ soldiers started to charge towards me and I spun around slicing through their neck with ease, it falling on the ground and the body slowly following. I turn my attention back to Julius with his slight surprise before putting his poker face back on. He looked around at all his dead soldiers and roared out, “RETRAITE ILS SONT TROP FORTS.” Turning away he spoke softly to me “Vous avez gagné cette fois.” before walking off holding where I had cut his side. I had won, but just like this? It can't be that he has gotten soft? “Vous vous êtes bien battu, jusqu'à la prochaine fois ... Frère …” I muttered turning around to my troops, raising my sword above my head and announcing “Nous avons gagné des frères! Nous permet de rentrer à la maison et de nous régaler!” all the troops before me raised their swords too and yelled loudly in a celebration and the loud horn blew and I and my men all walked towards our kingdom and there were mothers there with their children to congratulate all the soldiers arriving home. That night everyone gathered round a large table and ate like there was no tomorrow, I will definitely be sore tomorrow...
