Visual writing prompts v2

Hello. I have been writing storys from images. This is called 'Drop off'

The two walked through the streets that were covered in snow. The snow was falling fast so every footprint left was quickly covered up, it was very cold that day. Emma now wished that she had worn her leggings but it was too late for that.

it was the first day of school and she didn't want to leave her older brother. As they walked she held tightly onto his hand but shortly they arrived at the school. They both stopped and Emma started to shiver now being more aware of the temperature. “Here we are” Spoke Jared looking down at his sister.

Emma looked up to him with a saddened expression, “But I don't want to go to school…” Emma’s eyes started to water as she whimpered, shortly tears started to roll down her cheeks and she hugged her brother.
“Don't worry, I had a first day too. It really isn't that bad.” Jared spoke trying to comfort his sister.
She looked up and smiled wiping her tears “Ok, if you really think so.” Emma turned around and walked into the gates and waved to her brother. Emma looked off to the future that awaited her and welcomed it and what was to come.

Hello. I have been writing storys from images. This is called 'Memories'

It was december 14th. I awoke to my dog licking my face and looked at the time ‘8:57’ read the clock. I sat up holding the small black dog and pet it. “You wanna go on a,” I paused looking at the dog as it started to wag its tail. “Walk?” The dog barked happily and sprung off the bed running around in a few very quick circles and staring at me, its tongue hanging out of its mouth and its tail wagging like crazy. I laughed and got up out of bed and looked out the window of my cabin, my surroundings covered in snow.

I walked to the kitchen and turned on the kettle before getting out a cup, the honey and a raspberry leaf tea. I set down the cup opening the tea packet and putting it in. My dog put its front paws on my leg and I looked down, it had already grabbed its collar and had it in its mouth. “Clever girl” I kneeled down and pet her head and took the collar on.

I turned around to my now boiled kettle pouring the water in my cup. I put the kettle back and grabbed a teaspoon, dunking it into the honey jar then into my tea stirring it around. Once the honey was all mixed in with the tea I put the tea spoon on the counter and took my tea sipping it before just chugging the whole thing and putting it but the sink, grabbing the tea bag and putting it in the trash. I turned around and went back to my bedroom and went to my closet taking out a top, jeans and my red scarf. I got changed and grabbed my jacket off its hanger and put it on. I wrapped my scarf loosely around my neck and walked to the door where my dog was already waiting, her tail wagging.

I opened the door and my dog sprung out into the snow and ran off but not too far. I walked down the hill where I lived, stopping at a tree engraved with a heart and the letters ‘M + D’ I dragged my hand across it reminiscing of my ex who used to live with me before we got in a fight and I kicked her out.

I looked back at where I thought my dog would be but it was nowhere to be seen. I looked all around me and was unable to see my dog. I knew I would never find my dog in this weather and would probably get myself lost. I turned around back to my house and went inside closing the door behind me and just falling to a lump on the floor. I cried because that dog was my best friend and I never wanted to lose her, not yet. I was utterly useless and just flung off my jacket and went to bed crying myself to sleep over losing my dog. I woke up to a scratching at my front door and opened it along with weak barks. I sprung up and opened the door and my dog was there weak and cold. I picked her up and she was freezing. I took her to my warm heated bed and fell asleep with her in my arms. I don't think that I could ever be able to lose my dog but turns out I was wrong.
